This strawberry cream cheese cobbler is an easy, crowd pleasing dessert packed with fresh berries. Made with almond flour, it’s naturally gluten free and low in carbs, so it fits perfectly into a keto lifestyle without feeling like a compromise.
Jump to Recipe Print RecipeIt’s the kind of keto strawberry dessert that comes together with very little effort. The pockets of cream cheese bake right into the cobbler, creating a rich, creamy texture that’s soft and luscious without turning the whole dish into cheesecake. You get bursts of sweet strawberries and little tangy swirls in every bite.
We already loved having a classic berry cobbler in our low carb dessert rotation, so a strawberry version felt like the obvious summer upgrade. Adding spoonfuls of cream cheese gave it that cheesecake vibe we can never resist. It also happened to be the perfect way to use up a bargain block of cream cheese, which makes it even better.
Carbs in Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler
This recipe makes six servings, with about 3g net carbs per portion. Using almond flour instead of traditional flour keeps the carb count low, and swapping regular sugar for a low carb sweetener makes a big difference as well.
Ingredients
The base is similar to other low carb cobblers, with cream cheese added for extra richness.
- Almond flour – Use finely ground almond flour for the best texture.
- Sweetener – We used allulose, but monk fruit or Swerve work well too.
- Strawberries – Fresh strawberries are ideal, though frozen can be used if needed.
- Butter – Room temperature butter blends more smoothly into the batter.
- Eggs – Bring them to room temperature for easier mixing.
- Cream cheese – Cut into chunks so you get creamy pockets throughout the cobbler.
When this came out of the oven, it was dangerously good. After photographing it and serving myself a slice, I briefly considered polishing off the rest while no one was home. In the end, I showed some restraint and saved a portion. Barely.
How to Make Keto Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler
We baked this in a 9 inch round dish, but any similar sized baking dish will work.
- Beat the butter, sweetener, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
- Stir in the dry ingredients to form a thick batter.
- Spoon the batter into your baking dish.
- Top with halved strawberries.
- Scatter chunks of cream cheese over the top.
- Bake until golden and set in the center.
Let it cool slightly before serving. It’s delicious on its own, but even better with a dollop of whipped cream.
Variations
You can easily switch up the fruit. Blackberries or raspberries work beautifully, or use a mix of low carb berries for a different flavor profile. If you’re craving something similar with another fruit, a low carb peach version is also a great option.
Storage
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Cover the baking dish tightly or transfer the cobbler to an airtight container to keep it fresh.
