How To Make This Easy Keto Cheesecake Fluff
Out of all the keto desserts with cream cheese that you have prepared before the dessert is extremely easy to prepare!
Additionally, you can find a step by step procedure to prepare the dish on the printable recipe card located at the bottom of this post.
You may want to keep scrolling down because there are critical tips and important steps to make the keto fluff that I will help you out with.
Step 1: Whip the softened cream Cheese
To begin this recipe, take a block of cream cheese and place it in the mixing bowl.
I microwaved it for 30 seconds, then mixed it with a fork until fully incorporated. Please note that it always has to be softened cream cheese otherwise, you will end up with lumps.
Step 2: Add sweeteners and extracts
Now it’s time again for adding sweetener and flavouring extracts. I personally enjoy using a blend of erythritol and stevia together with stevia extract powder. But you can use any of your preferred keto sweetener(s).
Whenever there’s sweetener to be added, you can always taste test to get the right amount. The recipe requires sweetener to replace sugar in any amount between ½ to ¾, depending on your preferred sweetness level.
When it comes to extracts, I have vanilla and lemon. You can cut back on those or even replace them with other extracts or even lemon juice to provide a twist to the flavor!
Step 3: Mix in whipped cream for a light keto fluff
The sweetened cream cheese mix is fantastic on its own before adding the whipped cream.
To preserve the flavor, you want to fold in the cream first. This will keep deflation from getting out of control. After incorporating all defrosted cream cheese mixture, I whip the entire mixture with an electric mixer.
Optional: ingredients for keto cheesecake mousse can be folded in
No, it is not like folding a shirt. It requires patience and gentleness on your part!
To fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese, grab an offset spatula and bring the the cream cheese from the side of the bowl on top of the cream cheese batter base in a gentle motion.
Folding is basically a lighter version of mixing. You are still blending the whipped cream with the cream cheese, but you are doing it in a more subtle manner.
Step 4: Chill and serve
Time to let the deliciousness for each person’s meals reside in the fridge.
I suggest cooling the dessert 2 hours prior to serving, but if you’re feeling extra prepared do it the night before.
After the chilling is complete feel free to scoop the mousse into each dish. I like to leave it in the cups until later. After the guests arrive the cups are placed in the fridge and then enjoyed chilled.
To add a special flair it would be best to fill the cups with mousse using a pastry bag. A spoon works too, but where’s the fun in that?

What To Serve With Keto Cheesecake Fluff
There are way too many possibilities when it comes to serving this delicious meal.
While the dessert can stand on its own, it is easy to elevate it by including some sweet Spanish Almond toppings to give the dish a classic graham flavoring. Of course, don’t forget some drizzle of strawberry glaze to bring the entire dish together.
Perhaps chocolate shavings over the sugar free cheesecake keto mousse would make a better topping for you instead. Or maybe low carb fruit sauce is what you’d like to try out such as this blueberry jam!
To each serving I added my favorite ChocZero sugar-free chocolate chips which serve great as a topping. Additionally this mixture can also be used as an easy no-bake cheesecake filling by simply doubling the recipe.
You can even use it with other keto dessert mousses such as the amazing keto white chocolate mousse to make a no-fuss dessert.
Storing the Keto Cheesecake Fluff
Like many cream cheese-based low-carb desserts, this keto cream cheese mousse needs to be kept in the fridge. Make sure you put it in an airtight container. It will last up to 4-5 days before it goes bad.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here’s the most common questions regarding the keto cheesecake fluff recipe. In case your question is not addressed here please feel free to ask in the comments below. I try to answer every query.
Is it okay to use a stand mixer for this recipe?
Yes, of course! Stand mixers are just as good as electric hand mixers so feel free to use a stand mixer instead. Just remember to follow the same steps provided in this post.
Can you freeze cream cheese keto dessert?
Sure as long as you don’t mind some changes in texture. It will not be soft and spongy, but rather hard like solidified ice cream. While it is going to be easier to consume when thawed, the fluffy texture will very much be absent in its final state.
How do I make a keto cheesecake mousse with chocolate?
Unsweetened cocoa powder can be added to this cream cheese keto dessert to make it chocolate flavored. You could also use sugar-free chocolate chips. On top melted sugar-free chocolate can be drizzled over the dessert.
An even simpler way is to use sugarless chocolate pudding mix. Just blend half the amount of what the recipe states. You could also take out the vanilla extract for chocolate extract.
